I was because I’ve used so many OTC shampoos that promise to help reduce or eliminate the dry scalp (flakes) but I bit the bullet and purchased this shampoo. After the first use, I noticed my scalp felt fresh and less dry. By the second use, the flakes were gone! I’ve been using this shampoo for two and a half months now & still no flakes. I will say I apply it to my hair while in the shower I lather it up well and let it sit in while I wash the rest of my body & then I wash it off.. a little goes a long way. I still have a very full bottle.
